See neurologist: Most issues of double vision are caused by strabismus in younger age groups, but at your age, potential of a brainstem lesion, or neuromuscular disorder as cause needs to be explored.

Troubleshooting : See if the double vision persists when you close either eye. If it does, it's a muscle problem more than likely. If it's only in one eye, it's a refractive problem (cornea problem or cataract). If it's not true double vision but ghosting, like a shadow image, it may be dry eyes. These things should be treated before giving you a new pair of glasses. Make sure you've been seeing an ophthalmologist.
