It depends...: On the doctor. Many different specialists can prescribe and dispense prescription orthotics. Doctors are free to charge whatever they want. You insurance may cover this for you as a benefit of your plan. The orthotics themselves could be from $300 to $1, 000 a pair. Ask around when you call for an appointment.
