Can scarred muscle tissue heal abnormally and affect other parts of my body?

It's all connected: Every muscle in your body is connected. Injuries to muscles in one part of your body can and often do affect other parts of your body. A do who practices osteopathic manipulation might be able to provide you with some solutions and some relief from your symptoms.

Certainly, many ways: Where? How, how severe? How treated? Why did it heal abnormally? No matter how healing occurred there will be scar tissue present. Scar tissue is far weaker than the original tissue. It may heal stuck to surrounding tissues (adhesions) thus limiting motion of other muscles and joints. A hamstring injury can tighten your back from heel to the base of your skull. Seeing a pmr doctor and pt?
