Raynaud's: Raynaud's rarely occurs for no reason. The first step is always to try to determine the cause. The first step in treatment is avoidance of triggers (keep warm and warm up the affected area with each occurance). Medication is normally only used when avoidance/protection is not enough to prevent sores or functional limitations.

Should be prevented.: Many, many drugs moderate raynaud's and may block its occurance in severe form: calcium channel blockers are my favorite. And of those i like Diltiazem the best. But keep hands warm and dry!
