3 months: Most patients can perform most activities 6 weeks after the surgery and feel almost normal at 3 months after the surgery. Some patients require up to 3 months of therapy, but most are able to transition to a home exercise program six weeks after surgery.

Tka recovery: 4-6 weeks on average to walk without assistive devices. Feeling pretty good by 3months and as good as you will be by 1 year.
