Yes, antihistamine: Zyrtec (cetirizine) *is* an antihistamine. Zyrtec (cetirizine) is an antihistamine used for treating allergy symptoms and itching due to hives. There are no other ingredients in zyrtec; however, zyrtec-d, a separate formulation, has in addition to the antihistamine a decongestant.
