Needs evaluation: It is difficult to say without further history, and examination. We need to consider all the organs and tissue in left lower chest area that may be involved. These includes, pleurisy, gastritis, chest wall, muscles, ribs, heart, etc. Blood clots and pneumonia seems less likely because it will be acute in nature. Hence, further work up is necessary including physical examination, radiograph.
