Ayurveda: Ayurvedic therapy can be effective for numerous musculoskeletal symptoms. However results can vary greatly based on the experience and expertise of the healer as well as the severity of the injury and receptivity of the patient. I would seek treatment from a reputable healer preferably referred to you by people you know. The risks to therapy are negligible so giving it a try seems worth while.

Knee issue: Please get conventional therapy from your doctor for your knee. Panchakarma can be used as an addition if you like. Peace and good health.
