What are types of physical therapy administered after undergoing a partial knee?

Variety: We believe it is important to begin your physical therapy immediately after the procedure to decrease swelling, improve tissue quality and range of motion. Our therapists utilize soft tissue techniques to promote fluid flow, as well as appropriate range of motion and strengthening exercises.

Minimal needed: Most people should require only minimal therapy. My patients get 2-3 weeks of home therapy with isometric quad sets, straight leg raises if no back problems, short distance walking and stationary bike can start at 2-3 weeks. No aggrresive therapy that hurts.
