Vit d deficiency is often present and taking sufficient vit d3 which can also be applied topically up to 10, 000 units or even 20, 000 units a day if necessary for pain relief. Avoid dairy, wheat, and sugar which grow bad bacteria in the GI tract.

Not sure: Every medication has risk of side effects, depending on your condition. If you have pain all over, it would be good to know what you are dealing with. In any case, you might consider trying a mind-body therapy, such as hypnotherapy, to decrease overall pain.
