Anxiety meds.: Most meds. If taken on prn (as needed) basis should be ok, such as vistaril (hydroxyzine). Discuss with your doc.

No.: Sedating meds are inhibitory , they inhibit or slow down most metabolic processes that way may cause weight gain. Try meditation , it has no lasting systemic effects.
