Rhinitis: Rhinorrhea is a nice word we have to describe this problem. Persistant rhinorrhea can be an allergy or a condition called vast motor rhinitis, where watery mucus is produced on expusure to hot or cold etc (think runny nose when you eat something spicy) if is watery, usually means one of these things. In very rare situations, it could be leakage of spinal fluid from the base of the brain.
