Different disease: Chronic tonsill- itis is chronic inflammation of the tonsils most commonly caused by a viral or bacterial infection whose symptoms include sore throat and fever. Tonsil cancer- is malignant process that originates from the tonsil. Everything is different- the only similarities is that it is affected the same area- tonsil.
