Need to be checked: White bumps on the back of throat and a little cough needs to be checked.You may have strep throat and needs quick strep test or culture and if positive treatment white spots can also be due to infectious mononucleosis, or it may just be a self limiting viral infection so if you are concerned and want to get better see your doctor.

Fluids, rest: You probably have a virus, and antibiotics won't help. So congestion medication (like tylenol (acetaminophen) sinus) will help, but get plenty of rest and fluids.
