No direct relation: I'm not aware of any direct link between alcoholism and lung cancer. Heavy alcohol use has been implicated in mouth/throat cancer, liver cancer and stomach/bowel cancer, all of which can metastasize to the lungs.

No causal : Relationship. The association of people living unhealthy life styles may exist, but it is the tobacco and its adddiction that leads the preventable causes of lung cancer.

None known.: No direct link between alcohol consumption and lung cancer. However, many heavy drinkers are heavy smokers, or drink in areas where there is a lot of second hand smoke, such as bars, betting tracks, etc... And of course there is a direct link between smoking and second hand smoke and lung cancer. For more info: http://bit.Ly/ygfoko.
