Vivid dreams: Vivid dreams are not an uncommon side effect with ssris, including celexa (citalopram).

Definitely: If you have not been on an serotonin antidepressant before you may be surprised at the dreams and vividness which come and linger upon waking. You may have to put up with the side effect if the benefit of ssri is good. Mention it to your doctor. Other ssri or nsri may not be as activating on the dreams.

Celexa (citalopram): All ssris can on occasions cause vivid dreaming, more so at high doses.
