Pain unusual: The skin condition of granuloma annulare is occasionally itchy but I have never seen any kid complain of pain. The skin just sits there. If there is foot & ankle pain it is likely unrelated. If the pain is local to the lesion, i'd have it re-evaluated.

The skin: Condition is usually not associated with pain. I suggest she see a podiatrist.
