Immunomodulator: Opthalmic Cyclosporine is used to increase tear production in people with dry eyes. It works by decreasing the swelling in the eye to allow for tear production.

Restasis: Restasis is the brand-name for Cyclosporine drops. This is the only known medication that increases tear production. It is available by prescription only, and is fairly expensive.
