Relatively, yes: All drugs have potential side effects, some worse than others. Cyclosporine works well for its uses, but patients must be willing to work with doc closely to prevent untoward events, e.g. Reporting any side effects, reporting fever or infection immediately no matter how seemingly slight. Co-operate with doc when monitoring lab work is asked for; it's for your protection & well-being.
