Was it 1.56?: Serum creatinine of 156 is not feasible. If it was 1.56, it is elevated and waiting for 6 months may not be wise. Do drink plenty of water and have it rechecked as soon as feasible. Did you also get an estimated glomerular filtration rate with the creatinine result. If not, please ask for it as it provides better estimate of kidney function.
