A member asked:

Would the results differ for someone that is 20 years old getting botox as opposed to someone that is 30?

Depends on lines: Depending on the depth of the wrinkles you are treating with botox, the results will vary. That is more important than the age of the patient.

Unlikely: Botox will work the same in either a 20 or 30 year old person. Younger patients tend to have great results in very short order. Older patients with imprinted facial lines or alot of skin laxity tend to have less impressive results. I hope this information is helpful. Stephen weber, M.D. Lone tree facial plastic surgeon.

No: Botox is used cosmetically to lessen or eliminate wrinkles. It works the same way whether you are 20, 30, 40, up to age 65. Generally speaking, the younger you are the better the result because, wrinkles deepen as we age.
