How should i decide whether my daughter should have surgery on a toe?

Pain: Typically the indicating factor for most surgeries tends to be pain. However other factors are involved such as deformity and/or cosmetic issues pertaining to the toe. Some cosmetic issues could be a deformed toe or extra toe. Also fitting into shoe gear can be an issue.

Discuss with you doc: It all depends on the condition. Some conditions need surgery while others are optional. Consult with your physician and review your options.
