Cold pack: See your doctor regarding the care and treatment of rosacea. Avoid caffeine, alcohol, sun burn, spicy food, emotional upset or embarassment which can cause the rednes and flushing. Your doctor will start you on medication. Consult with a doctor that treats rosacea with laser skin care to keep it controlled and shut down any superficial blood vessels which are dilating and keeping it red.

Laser: Vbeam laser can help with the redness. An anti itch cream such as Benadryl (diphenhydramine) or a steroid cream can help with the itch. Make sure your being treated appropriately with a good cleansing regiment and antibiotics as prescribed by a dermatologist.
