A member asked:

What are the binocular boundaries of the field of vision, in degrees, from the point of fixation?

Approximately 130: The field of vision on either side is about 130 degress from fixation which means that you can actually see something moving from just behind the plane of your ears. Pretty terrific.

Binocular fields: The normal monocular fields horizontally are 60 degrees nasally and 100 degrees temporally (toward the ear). The binocular field (eyes working together) is about 120 degrees, with 40 degrees on each side that is seen only with the left or right eye.Pe.
