No: Although it is probably not wonderful to suppress your reproductive endocrine system for years, it is usually a reversible process. You would think it would delay the onset of menopause, but these days birth control pills are nowhere near as strong as they used to be. So, overall, there is no delay in menopause. Ovulation usually starts again within 3-4 months after stopping birth control pills.

Absolutely not: Birth control pills do nothing to permanently change female hormone function. Within a few months of stopping them your ovaries and pituitary gland will be functioning just the same at that point in life as if you had never taken the pills. Timing of menopause is not altered. On the good side, long term use of pills greatly decreases the risk of ovarian and uterine cancer!
