Mother: Cancer complications can be devastating on the patient and their family. Your oncologist or md need to assure that she get nourishment for strenght. Oral considerations from the vomiting involve protecting the teeth from the acid in the regurgatation. It can cause destruction of restorations and cavities in the teeth. Burning sensations, mouth sores, and dry mouth make it uncomfortable.

Ice chips/pedialyte: My sincere apologies for the suffering you and your mom are experiencing. Ice chips are small enough for her to suck on and may assist with the swallowing issues she is experiencing. You may what to take her to the er just incase she becomes increasingly dehydrated.
