Pleurisy likely: Based on your history, the most likely problem is a condition called pleurisy. This is an inflammation of the lining surrounding the lungs. It can develop shortly after a simple cold or mild upper respiratory infection. Ibuprofen usually helps. It's always best to check with your physician and have yourself seen to make sure there is not a more serious problem causing these symptoms.
