No: Clenching of teeth only causes more problems rather than accomplishing any good. You should not be worried.

Why unable?: Teeth actually touch only 20 minutes out of a 24 hr day. The rest of the time your jaws are apart. You should be able to bring all of your teeth together comfortably if you wish, but clenching can be a problematic habit. Ask your dentist to check your occlusion, and to refer you to an orthodontist if you have "bite" problems.
