Rarely: You could get carpal tunnel syndrome if your shoulder injury caused bad enough swelling. The swelling travels down the arm to the hand and that's what causes carpal tunnel.

Shoulder injuries: Many times the circumstances or events that led to,shoulder injuries will also produce problems in the elbow and wrist. .. So it's not uncommon to have problems in all three areas but note that the inciting cause affects all three . areas in the same time period. Ie the injured shoulder does not produce the wrist problem.
