CPP: This is true puberty. When the pituitary gland begins to secrete pubertal levels of lh and fsh which act on testes or ovaries to initiate testicular enlargement in boys or breast development in girls. Cpp can only be diagnosed when girls are < 8 yo and boys < 9 yo. After this age, it is no longer precocious.
