what is precocious puberty and what are the symptoms in girls?

Early puberty: It usually starts before age8y of age. If it early breast development the child will be monitored for other signs of puberty. The reason to follow closely is so height is not prematurely affected, thus the child would be shorter than predicted.

Depends on race: Defined by either breast development or pubic hair below the age of 8yrs (hispanics and aa ok a year earlier).
