Yes: If the stinger is still in the skin it can still deliver toxins into the stinger! be sure not to squeeze the stinger and introduce further toxins when you remove it from the skin.

Remove stinger: By scraping along edge of skin w credit card. Clean area w soap ; warm water. Apply ice in 10 min. Increments (10 on/10 off).
