No: There are no jaw changes due to chewing gum per se. Chewing gum can cause jaw fatigue or jaw pain due to over activity of the jaw muscles. You should be aware that our body including the jaw bones is very dynamic and is always changing.

Yes: Excessive gum chewing can enlarge jaw muscles (masseter) giving one a larger, square jae appearance. Rarely you can cause overuse of the jaw joint contributing to TMJ problems.
