Why: Why do you only eat on the left side of your mouth? Is there a reason, or is it habit? If it's habit, then chewing on all your teeth is best for your overall oral health. If there is some problem, you should have it dealt with properly...Otherwise what is the purpose of having the rest of your teeth? : ).

Chewing: Most people are primarily left sided or right sided chewers, just as they primarily write with one hand or the other. Unless there are parafunctional habits this is not of concern. See your Dentist every 6 months to, among other things, make sure you have no signs of excessive tooth wear or of gum recession.
