Double vision: Diploplia is also called double vision. As the name double vision implies, instead of seeing one object the person may see it as two objects. Causes of double vision can include misalignment of the eyes, optical problems like cataracts or corneal scarring, brain tumors, multiple sclerosis, intoxication, etc.
