Same day: Once your eyes feel comfortable (usually a few hours after surgery), you can watch tv or movies. You will need to keep your eyes moist with frequent artificial tears. More info http://www.2020vision.Com.

Immediately: As soon as you feel comfortable enough to do so, which for most people is the same day of the surgery. You just have to make sure you keep the surface of the eye well lubricated and use your medications as directed.
