Can cause.: But good hand hygeine, proper paring of the nails so that the fungal spores /hyphae underneath the nails don't get spread to other areas.Proper hand hygeine, especially after touching the affected area , and avoiding scratching of the infected areas with pens/pencils as we can transmit infections to other places by using the same pen/pencil without properly cleaning them(fomites-sources of infection.
