Yes, but..: Although pain from an irritated nerve root can radiate into the heel, one would not have heel pain as an only symptoms. Sciatic pain is usually felt in the buttock, hamstring, calf and heel. If you are experiencing heel pain as the only symptom, it is extremely unlikely that it is coming from an irritated or inflamed spinal nerve.
