Where?: You can have either infection or stones in a variety of locations, including salivary glands, pancreas, parotids, gallbladder, kidneys, etc. If any of these areas are inflamed or manifesting signs or symptoms of inflammation then it may be to tumors (benign or malignant), autoimmune diseases, or other non-infectious inflammatory conditions.
