Neck and Shoulder : Lower back pain does not usually cause neck and shoulder pain. They may be related to a common problem or completely separate issues. Best to be evaluated to determine. A sprain is an injury to a ligament. A ligament holds bone to bone. Injuring one ligament does not cause a sprain to another ligament unless there is trauma to both.
