I am allergic to shellfish. i just took keflex. i took singulair, benadryl, (diphenhydramine) claritin, pepcid ac, my ventoltor, i am about to use my epipen.?

Allergy: If you are also allergic to penicillin than this could be a cross reaction from the keflex. If you took all those meds and still need to use your Epipen (epinephrine) you need to get to an er now. Call 911.

Go ahead.: When having a severe allergic reaction Epinephrine is the only medication that can help you immediately with oll your symptoms. Asthma rescue inhalers will only help with your lung symptoms if it gets there. Any swelling in the throat will prevent it from getting there. . H-1(benadryl (diphenhydramine) and claritin) and h-2(pepcid) antihistamines and singulair will take up to1hour to work.
