Cheek bite?: Go to your dentist to find out what it could be. It sounds like a cheek bite but i can't be sure without a picture and an xray. It is also possible you have an infection. Go back to the dentist and have them make sure it doesn't have anything to do with the crown.

Stone: One possibility is a stone in your salivary duct. Pretty common. Feel your cheek and see if you can palpate a stone. Try pushing it out towards the front of your tongue. Could also be infection or chewing your cheek at night. Have your dds check it out.

I: It could be that you bite your cheek on a habitual basis. You may have a cold sore or an infection of the parotid gland.

Possible abscess: It is possible that the health of the tooth may have been compromised prior to the crown preparation.
