Don't Start!: Sugars and simple carbs cause your blood sugar to rise quickly, which leads to a spike in Insulin and then your blood sugar plummets, and you feel yourself craving more sugar. Avoid this roller-coaster by never getting on it in the first place! avoid sugar, white flour, pasta and rice. Smooth out blood sugar levels by eating small amounts of complex carbs + more protein and non-vegetable fats.
