Not really: The is no great natural way to get rid of the blockage. However, he can take measures to keep it from getting worse such as: not smoking, lowering cholesterol ( diet and/or taking a statin medication), treating his diabetes, and take an Aspirin to prevent blood clots from forming.

No, low salt intake: Helps to control hypertension. Antihypertensive medication is almost always necessary to control blood pressure. Angioplasty, balloon dilatation of obstruction of occluded arterial sefgment followed by stent, can cure problem for some patients. No other treatments work apart from renal artery bypass surgery which is virtually never performed nowadays, since advent of angioplasty. Good luck.
