A member asked:

What can i do about eye redness for a few days after wearing contacts?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Eye exam, refitting: The eyes should not be injected or red for several days after wearing contacts. In fact, you should stop wearing them until they can be re-evaluated. They could be fitting improperly leading to decreased oxygen to the eye, or you could be sensitive to the lens material or solutions. You might be overwearing the lenses, or they may be bringing problems with dry eye or allergy.
