How do you get an eyelash out from under the top eyelid?

Q-tip: I usually wet a Q-tip and use it to snag the lash. It can be a 2 person chore, If you press down on the upper lid while pulling outward, it flips down the fleshy under lid. The q-tip can be touched to the lash and drawn away, the lash coming out with the q-tip.
