In or outside mouth?: A lot depends on whether it is inside or outside the mouth. If outside, it could be some type of contact dermatitis (allergy), rosacea or some type of rash, inside could be any number of things including infection or irritation from foods or mouth rinses. The best bet is to be seen by your dentist or physician.
