What can cause front teeth to ache and feel like they have moved?

Clenching/bruxism: Heavy bruxism or clenching/grinding of the teeth can cause a tooth or multiple teeth to have the sensation you described. Periodontal disease can also affect the surrounding bone and cause similar symptoms. Best consult a dentist soon to rule out either situation.

Various: Parafunctional habits, such as clenching or bruxing. Systemic disease, such as diabetes. Untreated malocclusion. Loss of posterior bite support without replacement of missing teeth. Gum/bone loss as seen with periodontal disease. Please call your family dentist for an evaluation before this becomes more serious.
