Eczema: Eczema can present in the lid fold, often being exacerbated by dry heat. Sometimes the flaking can be an allergic reaction to something you are touching. A mild topical cortisone cream should control the symptoms. Be careful if it is not an ophthalmic preparation to not get it in the eyes.
