Conjunctivitis: This could be quite a serious problem. I would recommend you visit with an eye care professional at your earliest opportunity. Best selection is an ophthalmologist.

Medication: It is difficult to say for sure what you have, but a condition called membranous conjunctivitis would fit. If so, you would be more comfortable with steroid drops, which would also accelerate healing. Check with your ophthalmologist.
